The Agenzia per l’Italia Digitale has made available a new website with open data from the Public Administration.
The data are organised in 13 thematic categories, including health, which currently includes 1,096 datasets of various kinds.
The information comes from municipalities, regions and health authorities and is available in various formats.
At the moment, the only SDO (Discharge Forms) data are those of the Lombardy Region, while there are 10 sources for emergency rooms and 45 for outpatient services (including nomenclators).
This is certainly a good start, but the number of sources and the quantity of datasets need to be much larger. We hope that this will happen in the near future.
