At IFA 2019, Garmin presented a new series of GPS smartwatch for people who want to take care of their health.
Venu is an innovative smartwatch with AMOLED display with bright colours and up to 5-day battery life in smartwatch mode and up to 6-hours with GPS and music.
Venu displays the body’s energy levels throughout the day and suggests the best times for activity or rest. It has a sensor for detecting breathing throughout the day, during sleep and during breathwork and gym activities,
It has an integrated sensor that gauges the blood oxygen saturation during the day and as you sleep to show how well your body is absorbing oxygen. It has a stress analysis function and suggests relaxation exercises.
Venu also includes a hydration management function and a heart rate sensor.
The smartwatch is designed to be worn 24/7 and is waterproof to 5 ATMs. The screen is bright in all lighting conditions.
Venu receives smart notifications, emails and SMS when it is paired with a compatible smartphone; the answer function is only active for Android users. It also allows you to download and listen to music through Spotify, Deezer and Amazon Music.
Venu will be available in the fourth quarter at a cost of 379.99 euros in four colors: black, sand and pink, silver, black and gold.
